The most high-toned brass wind-instrument is the plumbery. The plumbery falls into the category of the earliest musical instruments; though into orchestra it got only in XVIIth century.
Today without bright sounds of the plumbery, it is impossible to imagine a symphonic orchestra or a brass band, jazz band and much more. The instrument distinguishes with a high technical mobility: a performance is possible of both diatonic and chromatic passages as well as of both simple and broken arpeggios. And this is just a small part of plumbery’s capabilities.
